Means of Transport:

• Ground transportation: If you prefer to travel by land when you come to visit the Province of Cadiz, there are a range of available options.

  The main coach routes are along the Ruta de la Plata (the Silver Route) from Algeciras to Galicia, to the North of Spain to Irún on the French border through Ciudad Real and León, or to the Murcia Region through the mountains of Málaga, Granada or Almeria. There are also frequent coach services to Seville or the Costa del Sol.

  On the other hand, the medium and long distance RENFE railway lines connect the Province with the rest of Spain.

• Seat Transportation: There are various options to reach the province of Cadiz by boat. On the one hand, the city of Cadiz has a port that - apart from being a port of call for major cruise lines - is connected to the Canary Islands by a regular ferry service. There are also ferry services to Ceuta or Tangiers from the Campo de Gibraltar and, at a local level, special mention should be made of the catamarans that crosses the Bay of Cadiz and connects the municipalities of Rota, Cádiz and El Puerto de Santa María.

• Air transport: The Province of Cadiz currently has an airport located 7 kilometres from Jerez de la Frontera and 50 kilometres from the city of Cadiz. There is also a transport link to Africa thanks to the Algeciras heliport. Seville and Malaga airports are within easy reach and offer flights to a wide range of international and national destinations.

• Other transport:

  There is a bus stop right next to the Real Estate, with the following routes: Jerez and Rota. There are also daily services to Puerto Santa María, Cádiz and Seville.

  A modern catamaran service links Rota and Puerto de Santa María with Cádiz on an enjoyable crossing across the Bay.
